REPAIRS

The damage to this end graft stemmed from an improperly installed jack. The graft needed to be re-secured and the missing wood had to be patched in. This required finding pieces of mahogany that closely matched the existing grain.

Damage to this Martin stemming from the output jack hole was repaired. Missing wood had to be patched in. This required finding pieces of mahogany that closely matched the existing grain. Color was touched up and finish was re-applied with beautiful results.

This is a 60's Gibson SG which unfortunately, had the jack area smashed in. I was able to glue the majority of it back together. I removed the area that was full of smashed fibers and inlaid a new piece of wood. I was then able to match the original pore filler and stain, then spray lacquer over the area.

Here you see significantly worn nickle frets on a 90's Ibanez Jem.

Here is a classic Gibson headstock break. This was glued back together and lacquer was sprayed back over it to create a seamless looking repair.

Stainless re-fret on a maple board. This guitar needed a board plane to correct fret board geometry before the new frets were installed.

Multiple cracks in this top due to improper humidification.

I repaired the crack and touch up the finish to better hide the damage.

The fret board on this Gibson is being removed to install carbon fiber rods into the neck.

This customer also requested Luminlay side dots (these glow in the dark). Many of the inlays in the original board were damaged, so those were replaced as well during the stainless steel re-fret, re-bind and bone nut install.

RESTORATION& RE-FINISH

This 1965 Fender Stratocaster came in to be restored back to its original color. Here you can see some remnants of the original finish of lacquer in Lake Placid blue.

1965 Gibson ES-330TD this guitar had multiple, old, broken headstock repairs that made it necessary to replace the headstock completely. I was able to copy the original headstock and re-install the original inlay. The new scarf joint makes this area stronger than it ever was!

1957 Fender Mary Kaye Stratocaster re-finish and relic. This very rare guitar came in with the customer wanting to restore it back to it's original state. This beauty still had ALL of the original hardware and electronics! I was able to match the original finish that was still visible in cavities.
